How Much Does a Website Redesign Cost in Singapore?

A website redesign in Singapore costs about S$1,500 to S$5,000 for a basic site of 3 to 8 pages and S$3,000 to S$8,000 for 5 to 20 pages. What changes the price, what a quote leaves out, and what replaced the PSG grant.

In short

  • A basic site of 3 to 8 pages costs about S$1,500 to S$5,000 to redesign in Singapore, and a small business site of 5 to 20 pages S$3,000 to S$8,000, in the price guides Singapore agencies publish.
  • Who builds it moves the price most: GoDaddy's guide puts a basic site at S$500 to S$1,500 from a freelancer and says a design firm starts from S$2,500.
  • PSG stopped taking applications on 29 September 2026 and the EDGE Grant replaced it on 30 September, so check what EDGE covers before you sign or pay.

A website redesign in Singapore costs about S$1,500 to S$5,000 for a basic site of 3 to 8 pages, and S$3,000 to S$8,000 for a small business site of 5 to 20 pages, going by the price guides Singapore agencies publish. rankr rebuilds an existing site in code for a one-off price below the S$2,500 that GoDaddy's guide gives as a design firm's starting point, and lower again when you start an SEO plan.

The guides price new websites, and a redesign is quoted the same way when every page gets rebuilt. A refresh that only changes the colours and fonts on the same platform costs less, and none of the guides puts a number on that, so this page doesn't either.

How much does a website redesign cost in Singapore?

D'Marketing Agency compared 7 Singapore price guides on 27 September 2026. These are the ranges most of them quote:

Type of websitePrice (SGD)
Basic site, 3 to 8 pages1,500 to 5,000
Small business site, 5 to 20 pages3,000 to 8,000
Corporate site7,000 to 15,000 and up
Online store6,000 to 30,000
Custom web app15,000 to 50,000 and up

The guides agree on the order and disagree on the numbers. In the same comparison, one agency's small business sites started at S$1,500 and another's at S$4,000.

Does it matter who you hire?

More than anything else on the quote. The same comparison splits a small business site by who builds it:

Who builds itSmall business site (SGD)
A website builder you set up yourselfAbout 150 to 800 a year
Freelancer1,000 to 3,000
Small agency2,500 to 6,000
Full-service agency5,000 to 25,000 and up

GoDaddy's guide (updated 23 December 2025) quotes lower for the simplest sites: S$500 to S$1,500 for a basic informational site from a freelancer, and S$1,000 to S$3,000 from an agency. It says hiring a website design firm in Singapore starts from S$2,500.

A website builder is the cheapest route, and the catch shows up later. A Wix site has to stay on Wix's servers, so leaving Wix means paying for the pages to be rebuilt somewhere else.

What makes a redesign cost more?

  • Custom design. One guide in D'Marketing's comparison puts a custom design at S$2,000 to S$10,000 on top of the build. A template costs far less.
  • Features. Bookings, a cart and payments, member logins and a second language each add work. A payment gateway alone adds S$500 to S$2,000 in GoDaddy's estimate.
  • Words and photos. Copywriting runs about S$100 to S$300 a page, and a photo shoot S$500 to S$2,000 or more, in GoDaddy's guide.
  • SEO setup. GoDaddy prices on-page SEO setup, the titles, descriptions and keyword work, at S$500 to S$3,000 on its own.
  • Pages. Every page has to be designed, built and checked, which is why the bands above rise with page count.

What does a redesign quote leave out?

The running costs, which the guides list separately:

Yearly costPrice (SGD)
Domain name15 to 50 a year for a .com; a .sg domain costs more
Hosting100 to 600 a year for shared hosting
Maintenance and updates50 to 300 a month if you pay someone

The cost no quote lists is the traffic a redesign can lose. When page addresses change and the old ones are not redirected to the new pages, the pages that ranked drop out of Google. Google's site move guide says it frequently sees people redirecting to wrong or non-existent pages on the new site. Ask whoever quotes you whether the price includes a redirect for every old address. If you are doing the move yourself, our website migration checklist has the steps.

A new design does not bring enquiries on its own either. If the old site looked fine and still brought none, read why a good-looking website can still get no customers before paying for a new one.

Can a government grant pay for a redesign?

Not through PSG any more. Enterprise Singapore's EDGE Grant page says "EDG, MRA and PSG ceased on 29 September 2026", and businesses apply under the EDGE Grant from 30 September. Submissions made before then are still processed.

The EDGE page says it supports businesses that want to adopt new digital solutions, and it does not mention websites by name, so check that your project qualifies before you sign a quote or pay a deposit. D'Marketing's comparison found several price guides still saying PSG can pay up to half.

How does rankr price a website redesign?

We rebuild your current site in code, page for page, from the live pages, and redirect every old address so the rankings you have come with you. Titles, descriptions, structured data, the sitemap and Search Console are set up as part of the price, which covers the SEO setup GoDaddy prices at S$500 to S$3,000 on its own.

The price is paid once, and it sits below the S$2,500 starting point GoDaddy gives for a design firm. With an SEO plan it is lower again, and the plan covers every edit to the site after launch. Online shops with a checkout, member logins and custom tools are quoted after a look. The price is on our website migration page.

Frequently asked questions

How much does it cost to redesign a website in Singapore?

About S$1,500 to S$5,000 for a basic site of 3 to 8 pages, and S$3,000 to S$8,000 for a small business site of 5 to 20 pages, in the Singapore price guides compared in September 2026. An online store runs S$6,000 to S$30,000.

How much does it cost to update an existing website?

Paying someone to maintain and update a site costs about S$50 to S$300 a month in the Singapore guides. On an SEO plan with rankr, edits to your site are part of the monthly work.

Is a redesign cheaper than a new website?

Only when the pages and the platform stay the same and just the look changes. Rebuilding every page is the same work as building a new site, so expect a similar quote.

Does a website redesign affect SEO?

It can. Rankings drop when page addresses change without a redirect from each old address to its new page, or when the new pages leave out the text that ranked.

Can PSG pay for a website redesign?

Not for new applications. Enterprise Singapore says EDG, MRA and PSG ceased on 29 September 2026, and businesses apply under the EDGE Grant from 30 September. Check whether your project qualifies before you sign or pay.
